1. (Q) I want to make an article discussing K12 in negative/critical ways. Can I do this?

(A) You can do this in KOZ. A direct link will not be displayed here, but you can find it via the site menu.

2. (Q) Am I allowed to make posts ranting about, explaining why they're wrong, or to expose other members?

3. (Q)

Original Work & Copyright

1. (Q) I didn't list copyright details for my work, but someone used/stole/traced it without my permission. Can I still report them if I don't want them to do that?

(A) It depends. If there is enough evidence, a case may be started. The most likely outcome is the offender forced to take the item down; however, you cannot do anything else to them. Keep in mind this is only ONE outcome. The result will vary depending on the jury.

2. (Q) Can I repost copyrighted content from other creators or online sources?

(A) No. If the media says explicitly not to repost it, please do not repost it. It can get everyone in a lot of legal toruble. If you don't know whether the content's copyrighted or not, you'll have to ask the owner(s) yourself.

3. (Q) What counts as an "Original Work"?

(A)

4. (Q) My creation has some fanwork and some of my own work in it. How do I tell if it's considered an Original Work or not?

(A) Ask yourself, if you took out the fanwork in it and kept everything else the same, would it still make sense? For example, let's say you have a character named Toni. Toni's dad is from another fandom. If you took out their dad and kept everything else the same (so no cloning, adoption, etc.) would it make sense? In these particular circumstances, no. Toni would be considered a fanwork. If the answer had, in other circumstances, been yes, then Toni would be considered an Original Work. This also holds true for stories and any other media.
